This website is a portal to collections of historical material relating to the North Craven area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Visitors can browse and search collections in a number of local archives, find links to other community archive groups in the area, and contribute their own historical articles and comments.
The Heritage Lottery Funded project initially committed to working with six main collections of material, but managed to complete twenty and now has over seventeen hundred items in the various catalogue collections representing around ten thousand pages of information. The project was featured in the BBC “Who Do You Think You Are” magazine in March 2018.
