“I was requested to help the group organising the Bottesford History project to give them some guidance on producing a web site. As a person who currently runs a number of web sites, I was acutely aware that the potential for having a site that was chaotic, uncontrolled and difficult to navigate was huge.
When I heard about the CommunitySites program I was initially very sceptical that it would be able to do all that we required with the minimum of intervention from the project team.
