Training

Our much-praised training courses help project teams get off to a flying start – even if they’re not confident with technology.

You’ll learn how to use the software we supply to create your website or catalogue.  If it’s useful, we can also cover subjects such as editorial policies, copyright, dealing with contributors, and editing images and audio.

Arranging the training

We come to you to run the training course.  You just need to find a venue where each person has access to a computer and the internet.

Most projects usually allow for two or three days of training in their budgets. A typical training group is six people, but can go up to twelve.

The training also includes clear hand-outs and documentation on how to use your website.

What our clients say

A really great IT training session. The way the trainer ran the session was perfectly paced and well handled. He actually showed us how to do things and why, rather than told us – which amounts to a vast difference. I actually came away thinking ‘Wow, I can do this!’ instead of the usual feeling of fear and trepidation that prevails after most IT training!John Putley, Barton and Tredworth Hidden Lives project.
I was very wary initially of having anything to do with the contributions and editing of a website, being a computer ‘thickie’ but I found your training to be an inspiration. The site seems to be very easy to use and you made it easy to understand – you spoke to us in plain English! Since coming home I have had some practice and my husband is also getting quietly confident using the excellent instructions we bought home with us.Jenny Day, Benfleet Community Archive
