Our Newhaven

Living history site run by volunteers

The Our Newhaven living history website was launched in August 2007. CommunitySites are training groups of volunteers from different sectors of the community to take part. A group of local schoolchildren worked with content supplied by the local museum to provide initial content for the site; then a small group of volunteer editors were trained to run the site. A new group of volunteer editors will be trained in October. The project was initiated by the South Downs Council for Voluntary Service.
