Oughterard Heritage Catalogue

An online catalogue integrated with a website

The Oughterard Heritage Catalogue is an online catalogue for a community archive in the West of Ireland. 

The catalogue is integrated with the Oughterard Heritage website, also supplied by CommunitySites. This means that, as well as being viewed as a standalone catalogue, images from the catalogue can be easily embedded into the website. 

CommunitySites used Omeka open source software to develop the catalogue.  We have become expert developers in the UK at creating sites with Omeka, and have customised the software to make it easier to use and compliant with the UK Community Archive Cataloguing Guidelines. 

Oughterard Heritage is the first in a network of sites that CommunitySites has provided in the Republic of Ireland.
