Oughterard Heritage

The first of a network of sites in rural Ireland

CommunitySites are delighted to have launched the first in a network of sites in rural Ireland. The village of Oughterard in County Galway is the first to go live. Watch out for the wonderfully created then and now photos.  The site is run by the Oughterard Culture and Heritage Group. 

The new CommunitySites network in Ireland has been initiated by the National Museum of Ireland - Country Life.
